Technology Lifecycle Service

WVLS and Libraries Win provide support for member libraries in purchasing, staging, deploying, and servicing staff and public computers. The Technology Lifecycle Service document details the program and standard models available for purchase.

The lifecycle plan also allows libraries to be billed for the cost of equipment over a 5 (computers) or 3 (monitors) year period rather than having total costs billed in one budget cycle.

We can also support special orders and builds for specific projects or needs.

Fill out the online form or contact the Help Desk at  if you have any questions or to complete your technology request.

Budget Resources

Computer counts are based on previous year and are for reference. A request for computer count validation goes out each year prior to invoicing.

Technology Strategy

This strategy guide is intended to be a multi-purpose reference. It supports the annually updated Wisconsin Valley Library Service system plan, prescribing mechanisms to meet the goals expressed in that document which imply or expressly demand the need for information technology support. It is also a guide for Information Technology department members, presenting a clear picture of the system’s immediate and long term goals and identifying the means by which to achieve them.
