Making Summer Easier, Part 2: Collaborative Summer Library Program Resources
Every year, Wisconsin participates in the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP), which means Wisconsin public libraries have access to resources to develop engaging programs, decorations and book displays, reading challenges, and promotional materials, to name a few. Emily Rogers (WVLS) and Leah Langby (IFLS) walk you through these free resources. This webinar is especially helpful for those who are new to the summer library program or who haven’t used the CSLP resources before.
Sponsored by IFLS and WVLS, this session is worth one contact hour for library director certification.
2020 Serving All Adults: Dementia Friendly Business Training & Customer Service in the Library
Scott Seeger and Meagan Fandrey of the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin (ADRC-CW) provide Dementia Friendly Business Training with an emphasis on customer service and inclusivity in the library.
The ADRC-CW works to provide peace of mind and quality of life to individuals and families through information and access to resources.
Check Out Wisconsin State Parks At Your Library
Check Out Wisconsin State Parks At Your Library is a collaborative effort between the DNR, the Wisconsin Association of Public Libraries and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. This program allows library cardholders to check out a state park and daily forest vehicle admission pass from participating libraries. Along with the day pass, the cardholder will receive an informational kit of state park system materials and maps, stickers, accessibility information and more. The program aims to expand new visitors’ access to the Wisconsin State Park System. Visit the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for more information.
