Effective July 1, Wisconsin Valley Library Service will have a new partnership with the Northern Waters Library Service.
The partnership was approved by both the WVLS and NWLS Boards of Trustees to go into effect July 1. Its purpose is to provide more effective services for all of the libraries in both systems. Northern Waters serves the counties of Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer, Vilas and Washburn.
“Each system have something to offer to the other,” said WVLS Director Marla Sepnafski. “Sharing expertise across system borders will create value for both sides.”
