WVLS is awarding scholarships for its member libraries to attend the Wisconsin Association of Public Libraries (WAPL) Conference, April 30 – May 2 at the Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center in Oshkosh. WAPL is a division of the Wisconsin Library Association.
Valued up to $1,000, the scholarship may be used to cover some/all of the following costs:
- Conference registration (WLA member or non-member)
- Mileage reimbursement (WVLS rate) to/from the conference
- Up tp 2 nights of conference lodging (May 1 and 2)
The conference theme is also our state motto: Forward! Keep an eye on the conference website for registration information and hotel rates. Note that the scholarship will not cover meals. Some meals may be included with conference registration.
The completed application must be sent to Jamie Matczak at by 6 p.m. on Friday, March 21. Applicants will be notified on Tuesday, March 25. See the WVLS website to download an application.
