Session 1: Section-by-Section Review of the Annual Report 9 AM – 12 PM

Learn about important changes to the 2024 annual report with DPI Data Analyst & State Data Coordinator, Melissa Aro and review the annual report highlights section-by-section with WVLS staff. We will cover background of what and why different information is collected, what is pre-filled by WVLS for your library and how we come to those numbers, best practices for collecting and reporting your numbers and preparing to make notes (and why you should make notes) in your library’s annual report. This will also include information on any additional information being collected in 2024.

Lunch 12 PM – 1 PM: option to order in for in-person participation

Session 2: Team workshop your annual report 1 PM – 3 PM

Review questions and activities specific to your library’s annual report. Discuss how to turn your AR statistics into talking points and advocacy pieces using the pilot DPI Data Dashboard (WVLS Data Dissections), WVLS Statistics Booklet, and WVLS data dashboard.
