The Graham Public Library in Union Grove, WI is seeking an enthusiastic,
creative, and dynamic Youth Services Librarian. The Youth Services
Librarian will be responsible for developing and implementing services,
programming, and outreach; and managing the youth collection, for children
from birth to age 18, as well as their caregivers.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, compassionate, tech savvy, adaptable
to changing priorities and library practices, and work well independently
and as part of our friendly team. Exceptional customer service and
communication skills are a must.

*Requirements*

MLS or MLIS form an ALA-accredited institution, with emphasis on youth
services is highly preferred (A Master’s in a related field may be
substituted)

Experience serving youth in a library or school setting

Knowledge of children’s literature and storytelling techniques

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

*Wage & Benefits*

This is a 37.5 hour per week, full-time, non-exempt position. Starting wage
is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour commensurate with education and experience.
Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance; participation in the
Wisconsin Retirement System; and paid sick, personal, holiday, and vacation
leave.
