The Hatch Public Library in Mauston, Wisconsin is seeking an energetic, creative and community focused candidate for the full-time position of Youth Services Librarian. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with patrons of all ages, and will be responsible for programming and services. A successful candidate will be skilled at storytelling, knowledgeable of children’s literature, have a genuine ability to relate to kids and their parents, enjoy working in a fast paced and changing environment, have strong computer skills and high customer service standards. Preference will be given to candidates with grant writing experience.
The Hatch Public Library serves the active, rural community of Mauston, Wisconsin, with a municipal population of 4,499 and a service population of 13,159. It is strategically located on I90-I94 only one hour either way to Madison or La Crosse. The Hatch Public Library is a member of Winding Rivers Library System.
This is a full-time position, with varied hours including required evenings and weekends. Salary range is $33,000- $41,000 depending upon qualifications, and includes an excellent benefit package.
