(12:54 PM) Jamie Matczak: afternoon (12:55 PM) Jamie Matczak: "Nothing" by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians (12:55 PM) Brandon: not bad (12:59 PM) Jamie Matczak: "I'll Come Too" by James Blake (01:08 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: I have never met a food I didn't like!! I will eat them but I am now a fan of sweet pickles. (01:08 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: not a fan of sweet pickles (01:09 PM) Vicky: Aspargus but now love it (01:09 PM) Brandon: spinach (01:09 PM) Brandon: love it these days (01:11 PM) Granton Library: lotsa veggies in that dish (01:11 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: sounds like a goulash... (01:11 PM) Dominic: does sound like goulash (01:11 PM) Dominic: probably just needs some spices (01:13 PM) Gilman Staff: kidney beans in chili I do like them now in chili (01:13 PM) Rib Lake PL: I just got here, but I'm multi tasking. I might not be answering if you call on me :) (01:14 PM) Granton Library: that is not right-- (01:15 PM) Granton Library: I loved eating those little green onions right from garden- Grandpa didn't like that I ate them all (01:20 PM) Gilman Staff: I had one of my board members watch it and they thought it was repetitive. (01:20 PM) Granton Library: I have not had a time to read it or view it- planning to soon (01:23 PM) Rib Lake PL: My patrons are having a really hard time understanding why we can't request materials from other places. (01:23 PM) Granton Library: Tammie- what you tell them? (01:23 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: I read through the guidelines, It came out AFTER our library board set our protocol for re-opening with limited services and hours. I am proud that our board actually hit on on the mail points and made a policy toward each point. Also we have been re-open since June 1st and it has gone VERY well. I attribute that to having some policy set ahead of time. I did not view the webinar because I felt I could read the guide just fine. Also our local County Public Health Department was super helpful with pointers toward those protocols. (01:24 PM) Brandon: Have not had a chance to read it yet, preparing our library for carpet cleaning this week (01:26 PM) Rib Lake PL: We've been explaining that all libraries have different policies on it. We can request, but it may or may not be filled. (01:27 PM) Granton Library: Tammei what level are you right now? (01:28 PM) Rib Lake PL: Taylor County has not started sharing within the county yet. We're all over the place :) (01:28 PM) Granton Library: I just had that timeline disuccsion with my staff (01:28 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: I agree Dominic the time is over kill (01:29 PM) Vicky: For those who don't have designated hours for risk populations, do you think they would come in rather than using curbside? We are getting swamped with curbside. (01:30 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: since we opened.....our curbside has considerably lessened (01:30 PM) Rib Lake PL: Our curbside has dropped down to almost nothing. (01:31 PM) Loyal Library: I haven't had a chance to watch the webinar. (01:32 PM) Dominic: webinar link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_eZ1xtw1Uk&feature=youtu.be (01:35 PM) Dominic: wise move Heidi. (01:36 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: so sad Dominic (01:37 PM) Vicky: People all over are wearing less masks. (01:37 PM) Granton Library: That is my concern0 my board said people can stay for an hour- hoping they don't hang out to long- for now (01:38 PM) Demmer Library: We've added picnic tables here, too. (01:38 PM) Demmer Library: Very popular, but not much shade. I'm still lobbying the town to provide shade. (01:38 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: we had a mom and a stroller with a blanket under a shade tree yesterday. I was happy to provide her wi-fi while spending time outside with her baby. (01:41 PM) Granton Library: I agree with you Teresa (01:41 PM) Dominic: Yes Teresa- we need to model the behavior we want to see. (01:41 PM) Anne Kuipers: I also agree, it's hard when the community pool across the street is going to open. (01:43 PM) Loyal Library: exact;y Dominic (01:44 PM) Vicky: I watched webinar and read the guidelines, but it is difficult to justify our actions at Colby when libraries all are doing different things. So, we have guidelines which are only recommendations because there is local control. (01:50 PM) Granton Library: Glad they moved ARSL was vitrual- but disappointed at the same time (01:50 PM) Greenwood Library: No suggestions/emails from municipality...The WI Reopening Guide: i did watch the video and I read the public facilities section. The maximum capacity calculator was humorous to me. Liked the bulleted lists; validated what we are doing; can't protect everyone at every level-even hospitals can't do that! (01:53 PM) Vicky: People that are open: Are people okay with short frame of say 15 minutes? What is a good length of time? (01:53 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: "Can I request materials from other libraries yet?"....almost every.single.patron (01:53 PM) Dominic: same questions as before (01:53 PM) Dominic: help me print, request materials, put things on hold (01:53 PM) Greenwood Library: Only question I get are --do we have to wear masks? Otherwise they are fine using sanitizer upon entry and enjoy browsing. (01:54 PM) Loyal Library: ditto Janay, Dominic, Kim (01:54 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: Vicky 15 minutes is okay if patrons aren't there for computer use. Our patrons here for computers cannot do only 15 minutes (01:54 PM) Dominic: We didn't have time limits, but 90% of people are out in about that time anyway (01:54 PM) Loyal Library: We are limiting to 30 minutes across the board (01:54 PM) Greenwood Library: no limit here for browsing; PCs need only also no limit for that issue (01:55 PM) Dominic: some people just need more than 15 min for comuters (01:55 PM) Greenwood Library: sorry, pcs only for those needing one; not limiting tehm (01:55 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: We had 75 visits our first week open. Our staff is tallying those walking in the door! (01:56 PM) Janay 608-548-5204: This doesn't account for those outside the building for wi-fi and picking up make and take crafts (01:56 PM) Demmer Library: Thanks everybody. (01:58 PM) Granton Library: I did the same last week- a patron really needed a computer before we offically open- (01:58 PM) Heidi Tomahawk: Yes, (01:58 PM) Demmer Library: Makes sense, Teresa. We're also going to try the 30 minutes across the board, but good to know that experience. We had an internet outage in the area, some people not getting restored until late June. Somebody called because they need to telecommute, but have zero places to go, no fault of their own. (01:59 PM) Sherry Machones: Got to go to another meeting thanks all! (01:59 PM) Loyal Library: Erica, I think you will find most questions are what they've answered in the past (02:00 PM) Demmer Library: Just that the answers might be different now! :-D :-P (02:02 PM) Heidi Tomahawk: Thank You & Take care!
