The Oakfield Public Library is accepting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of part-time library director. Applicants should be enthusiastic supporters of public libraries and possess a clear understanding of their purpose. A basic knowledge of technology and how it is used to enhance library services is important. The library director will be expected to work effectively with the library board, municipal government, library staff and library users of all ages. A grade 3 Wisconsin Public Library Certification or the ability to obtain such certification while serving as library director is required.
The Oakfield Public Library is a member of the Winnefox Library System and participates in a shared library system with 28 other public libraries.
This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week with a starting wage of $15.69. The Library Director receives 2 weeks of paid vacation. The position also includes a simple IRA
