The City of Crandon is seeking a Library Director. Candidates must possess outstanding interpersonal skills, demonstrate leadership ability, and have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Further, candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and be able to effectively navigate various types of computer applications. The ability to develop effective working relationships with the city, board, staff, and patrons is essential.
Applicants must also have a minimum of 54 college credits, the ability to obtain a Grade 3 Wisconsin Librarian Certification and be willing to relocate to the Crandon area.
This position is 40 hours per week, with some evening and Saturday hours required.

Supervision of all library services and staff, responsibility for maintaining and updating the collection, budgeting, coordination of community relations, programming, direct interaction with trustees, oral and written communication, coordination of grants, oversight of care and maintenance of the library facility and grounds.
