The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is a dynamic and busy community gathering place dedicated to improving the lives of our customers. We invite candidates who are interested in a professional library position dedicated to public instruction, digital resources, use of mobile devices, and makerspace programming to apply.

We are seeking a customer-focused individual with instruction and reference services experience to join our team in the development of the library’s Dabble Box makerspace. The Reference and Digital Services Librarian will have a leadership role in the management of reference services and overall vision of the library. The work schedule varies, and includes one evening a week and approximately one weekend a month. A Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited library school is preferred.

This is a full-time position. The 2017 salary range is $22.51 – $29.56 per hour, with excellent benefits, including health insurance, and support for professional activities. As determined by a recent classification and compensation study, wages are scheduled to increase January 1, 2018.
