UPDATE: Planned Service Outage - Sierra Application Services Available

UPDATE Monday May 15th 9:27am

The operating system update to the Sierra Application Server is complete and the primary services have been tested and verified. Librarians, please contact the help desk if there are any issues with the Sierra Desktop Application or the Online Catalog.

Please look to for status updates for Sierra Application Server and connectivity updates in the the future.


Sunday May 14th

Online Catalog Services Offline During Planned Sierra Server Move

V-Cat Online Catalog and Sierra Desktop Application will be offline and unavailable during a planned migration of physical servers to our new data center.  All services are expected to be operational by 11:30pm tonight (11/13/2016).

Network Status - When We're Down, You Should Know!

As I write this, Chris Heitman is working diligently to resolve a fairly large network outtage experience on the WVLS WAN.  One of the more interesting dilemas experienced in the communications of service status manifests when the primary communications channels are the problem for which we'd like to report status.  "Email's down, lets' email everyone to let them know!"
